Nigerian rapper Naira Marley has released an official statement denying any role in the death of artist Mohbad. This comes after speculation of Marley’s ties to the late singer’s suspected drug abuse and exploitation.
In the press release, Marley firmly states “I’m not a drug lord or belong to a cult. I have no hand in Mohbad’s death.” He maintains his innocence amid accusations by Mohbad’s family and online sleuths.
Marley goes on to say he will fully cooperate with the ongoing police investigation into Mohbad’s suspicious passing. The rapper says he wants the true facts to come to light.
