The Egyptian talismanic striker Salah who is currently a Liverpool player in England has scored the same number of goals 84 recorded by former Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo in a 4-0 rout over wolves yesterday.
It was a moment of joy for the Liverpool star after scoring a sublime opener against helpless Wolverhampton goalkeeper at Anfield.
The Egyptian needs just 131 matches, 65 less than Ronaldo did, to make history.
The win took Liverpool to 24 points from 11 fixtures, the same number as Spurs who defeated Arsenal 2-0. Liverpool and Spurs are both joint League leaders as the race for Premier league title countinue.
