The second runner up of the just ended Big Brother Naija reality show Rebecca Nengi Hampson has disclosed in a recent interview how she spent most of her life growing up with only her mother.
Speaking in an interview with PunchNG, Nengi opened up about her childhood and how her father was “really never there” for her. She stated that her mother was the only one fending for her till she grew up but unfortunately she passed on when everything was beginning to work out.
“My dad was never really there. I can count the number of times I saw him.
So I grew up with my mother and she was the only one I knew. She struggled to take care of me but the love between us is deep. Even when we didn’t have anything, I was always happy. We would be in our house and manage our lives. However, she died when things were becoming good” she said.
