Naira Marley’s Best Friend, Sam Larry Deactivates IG Account after Trending Assault Video
Sam Larry, a close associate of Naira Marley, deleted his Instagram account today after video footage circulated online depicting him violently beating Mohbad.
Larry’s involvement has sparked outrage, especially after Mohbad’s recent tragic death under mysterious circumstances. Critics have accused Naira Marley of fostering a toxic environment that enabled the abuse of artists under his wing.
Further fanning the flames, Larry was also recently photographed with an infamous machete-wielding hoodlum who went viral during Nigeria’s 2020 End SARS protests.
With pressure mounting, Larry has now disappeared from IG rather than face backlash over his assault of Mohbad and association with questionable figures.
However, many are calling for greater accountability and for Naira Marley to denounce the violence perpetrated by his inner circle. The deleted social media account does little to quell demands for justice for Mohbad.
